Sidetracked is all about combining good design and photography with fascinating and inspiring content. The ethos is to create an undisturbed, compelling environment to present a story, video or photo set.
In order for the magazine to continue to grow, plans are in place to sympathetically introduce some advertising into the site whilst ensuring that the experience for the reader remains the priority. Contrary to most typical website advertising, the ads will be big, bold and beautiful, professionally designed, and with the story in mind. The core presentation of the site will remain around a diverse collection of human stories.
Sidetracked is evolving into a new phase. A Behind the Scenes section has been introduced which investigates the logistics and equipment needed for the trips as well as many helpful hints and tips for prospective adventurers. This will soon become a larger, integrated part of Sidetracked and is an ideal platform for useful, targeted advertising.
